Fire Fly table lights experiment with seeing objects through translucency and without visual filters. This fascination is rooted in the hanji doors, some of which had maple leaves sandwiched between layers of rice papers. The maple leaves on the Fire Fly become abstract images through the elongated oval shaped translucent acrylic wings.
Fire Fly series have many types of foliage and flowers: Japanese maple, Forsythia, Hydrangea and Cosmos. Japanese maple and cosmos are in stock; others will be available when they are in season.
