Manta is a study of simple geometric shapes transforming into intricate and organic forms through gravity and light trails. Woven pattern of light trails is created on the curved squares of stainless-steel mesh fabrics, and a striped light pattern is reflected on the flat stainless-steel panel. The piece and the shadow on the ceiling are reminiscent of the graceful bodies of manta rays and the straight lines of their tails.

The suspended light bar has 2 different types of LED lighting. Up light has a strip with individual diodes, and the downlight provides continuous lighting. They are zoned separately and controlled and dimmed remotely.

Power supply, the drivers and the dimmers are located above the metal panel, which is suspended from the ceiling by cable wires, providing a capability to adjust the height.

Manta can be installed as a single unit or in multiples of (4) units. We envision applications as small as a simple fixture over a dining table to larger installations in diverse commercial and public spaces.
