Wrap is inspired by women’s shawl garment. Wrap evokes ethereal forms recalling the natural world. A single piece of painted aluminum mesh fabric is wrapped around a light source.
This particular wrap fabric is painted with interference paint which has color-shifting effect. The color changes on the opposite side of the light, very light tint of blue on the light side and tint of gold on the opposite side.
Wrap can be of multiple surfaces with various paint colors, laminated foliage and blossoms.
